Graphic poetry as a means of communication

Technological progress has suddenly made all of us “accessible”. Having different characters, backgrounds, education, memories, and languages, we all ended up in a common territory. So, in order to avoid a global cognitive dissonance, we merely need to learn to communicate, to balance our perception systems, and understand what to do next in this globalization process.

LB.ua have posted a blog by Olia Mykhailiuk about graphic poetry, synthesis, and unexpected discoveries that occur through instant juxtaposition and associations. What do Rabelais, Carroll, Apollinaire and Einstein have in common? How visual, kinetic and audio elements combine with poetic text? What is happening with language now? Will emoticons become new punctuation marks? Why visual language, Instagram in particular, is gaining in popularity? How social networks will transform language in the nearest future?
